Namkabuan in the 90s was a great champion, was the undisputed star of all aficionados because he inflamed the Lumpinee stadium with his wonderful techniques. Namkabuan was a phenomenal technician who has defeat fighters much more powerful than him thanks to his exceptional technical mastery.

His knowledge of the ring and how to fight earned him many nicknames, one of the best known is probably “The Ring Genius” but it was also called “Khun Khao Phanom Rung” (Stroke knee Phanom Rung) from famous temple Phanom Rung in Buriram region. And fans of Muay Thai was nicknamed Djomkaynaa (The plowman) because his specialty was technical grab legs, he caught the leg of his opponent and rose to unbalance his opponent and make him fall. This technique was riminded of a farmer who grows his plow and plowing his field, the farmer was Namkabuan and legs of his opponents, the handles of the plow…

Namkabuan gained his belt of Lumpinee at the beginning of the 90s and kept him for six years, he has to keep his trophy face has numerous opponents, in particular against great champions as Pairot Wor Wolapon and Neutharonee Tongraja!

Namphon who was four years old more than Namkabuan, was also an immense champion, he had no same style of fight as his young brother, Namphon was more a durable boxer who moved forward on his opponents by sending knocks of knees and terrible low kick. Namphon made many hard fights, too much, matches where he was often cut to the face, insomuch that the fans of Muay Thai had nicknamed him “Khun Khao Nay Peuaiye” (The blow of knee reconstructed) because during his career he had 72 stitches, furthermore he had a serious accident of car what was worth to him additional stitches!

Namphon has to gain the belt of Lumpinee in 112 lbs and 126 lbs, he met twice great Samart Payakaroon (2 defeats), twice legendary Ramon Dekkers (1 victory, 1 defeat), three times formidable Jaroenthong Kietbanchong (1 victory, 1 defeat, 1 draw), twice the bull Neutharonee Tongraja (1 victory, 1 draw) and many other great champions as Orono Por Muang Ubon, Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj, Cherry Sor Wanich, Phetdam Lukborai…

But the Thai had taken his revenge on the Dutch by beating him then in Bangkok, Namphon had received a 100 000-baht to have beaten the Dutch, in the time Namphon gained purses between 200 000 and 250 000 bahts!
