This small camp is in Pattaya, in Soi Sukhumvit-Pattaya 31, close to the Sukhumvit Road. It opened in 2008 and was created by a former boxer of the famous Sityodtong camp, whose name of combatant was Natee. There is at present between five and six Thai boxers who trains in the camp, especially the children. But the great champion Mangkong Kietsomkoum trains in this small camp. This excellent technician beat very great champions as Namsaknoi Yuttakarnkamthon (twice), Nong Be Kiatyonyut, Narupol Fairtex (twice), Thepalit Poratchai, Bruce Mac Fie and Jean-Charles Skarbowsky (twice). He also met hotshot of the discipline such as Buakaw Por Pramuk and Farid Villaume. Today Mangkong is at the end of career and trains henceforth in Chor Nateethong. On the other hand that of him after noon does not exceed 5 km. The sessions in paos are very hard here, because the rounds of paos make over five minutes instead of three minutes usual. The boxers work for more than half an hour the strikings on paos, seven rounds each. When in the session of clinch she is made in the morning and evening, and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The promoter of the camp is Khru Yodthong, the owner of the Sidyodthong, the man influence in the world of the thai boxing. Pattaya he has his connections everywhere and little make, often, the fighter’s fights in the stadium Theprasit, the main stadium of Pattaya.

The peculiarity of this camp it is because he offers, besides the trainings of Muay Thai, lessons of Muay Boran. Muay Boran (former Boxing) is the traditional art of Muay Thai which was practised without gloves in the time. Moreover the lessons are made in traditional dress, without gloves, with only a bandage around hands. The lessons of Muay Boran are given by Tak, specialist of this art, they are only made after noon.

The atmosphere in Chor Nateethong is family, the children of the district often are around boxing rings to observe the training of the boxers. And the woman of the boss, smiling and welcoming, likes joking with the foreigners.

For you train in this small camp ” Fimeuu” (technician) he cost you 300 bahts for a training and 500 bahts for two trainings, really reasonable price for the sea resort of Pattaya…
