MANAOWAN : Very well thank

What is your name of fighter?

My fight name is Manaowan Sitsongpeenong. My real name is Nopparat Pimkratok

How old are you?

I’m 20 years

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I come from Sa Kaeo Province (Northeastern region)

You have brothers and sisters?

Yes, I have one brother and one sister

Your brother is a boxer too?

No

You began the boxing at which age?

At the age of 10 years

At what age you have make your first fight?

At 10 years

You gained your fight?

Yes

How you discovered the boxing?

I watched it on TV and become interested in it

In what camp you began your training?

At Sor Jam Jan Camp in Sa Kaeo

There were many fighters in this camp?

No, only two fighters

You made a lot of fight for this camp?

I fought about 50 times for this camp

To what age you came to Bangkok?

I moved to Bangkok when I was 12 years. I go to Petchyindee gym

And today you are in which camp?

At Sitsongpeenong Muaythai Camp. I joined the camp in March 2016

In what category you fight?

I fight in the Welterweight division in 147 lbs (66 Kg). But most of my fights are between 66 and 68 Kg

You gained belts of the big stadiums?

Yes, I’m the current Welterweight Champion at Rajadamnern Stadium. I won Rajadamnern belt against the Frenchman Azize Hlali in May 2016.

I also won a 4-Man Tournament at Max Muaythai stadium in 70 Kg

How much have you make of fights so far?

I’ve had about 130 fights is my career but my official record is 94 fights for 68 wins, 24 losses and 2 draws

You have which style of boxing?

I’m a complete all round fighter under Muaythai Rules. I’m currently learning to train and fight under kickboxing rules. I think in future I will fight more often overseas than I will in Thailand. Most of the fights I’ll have overseas will be under Kickboxing Rules

What is your technique preferred in fight?

I prefer to use my right kicks and strong clinch and knee techniques

What was your hardest fight until today?

The hardest fight I ever had was against Pornsanae Sitmonchai (Loss by KO in april 2014)

Your best memory of boxing?

When I won the Rajadamnern Welterweight Title against Azize Hlali last year

What are the known fighters that you faced?

Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9 was the best fighter I have ever faced. So Pornsanae, Rambo, Suadam, Mangkonphet, Chok, there are too many others to name…

You have already fought abroad?

Yes, two times before, once in China and once in France

You know French fighters?

Yes, the biggest names I know are Youssef Boughanem and Fabio Pinca

What is the best Thai fighter today according to you?

I think the best Thai Fighter today is Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong

For what promoter you fights?

In Thailand I fight for Petchyindee Promotions. But since I joining Sitsongpeenong I have fought on only one Petchyindee event

What is your purse at present in Thailand?

Usually between 50,000 – 60,000 baht depending on the event and opponent

You want to add some thing?

I hope to perform to the best of my ability and win my upcoming fights. Firstly, against Morgan Adrar in France for the WBC World Title on 28 January. And secondly, when I defend my Rajadamnern Title against Fabio Pinca in Thailand on 23 February

Manaowan is the current champion of the stadium of Radja in 147 lbs (-67 Kg), a belt that he took away on May 27th, 2016 as part of the event of Best Of Siam 8 in Bangkok where he beat French Azize Hlali in points. Manaowan is going to defend his belt against the French star Fabio Pinca in the Best Of Siam 10 which will take place in the stadium of Radja, on February 23rd, 2017.

MANAOWAN AGAINST FABIO PINCA

Before his fight against Fabio Pinca, the Thai has another major opponent to be faced on January 28th, 2017 in France. Manaowan will come to challenge French Morgan Adrar on his lands where this one will defend his world champion WBC’s belt in – 67 Kg.

MANAOWAN AGAINST MORGAN ADRAR

On March 5th, 2016, to Pattaya, Manaowan had also taken away the belt of the tournament Muay Thai 4 Man – 70 kg by beating the champion Chok Eminentair in final. Manaowan also fought in 2015, in Lumpinee, for the vacant belts of Lumpinee and Thailand in 147 lbs against Mangkonphet Sor Kaitwat who beat him in points.

October 22nd, 2016, Manaowan came for the first time to fight in France in the event in Lyon, he was defeated in points in front of formidable French champion Dylan Salvador. On December 17th, 2016, in China, he lost in points in front of Chinese champion Liu Xiangming.

Manaowan knows the French fighters well because he also beat in Thailand by KO Greg Petchsaman of the Team at Youssef Boughanem and by points Valentino Thibault of Max Sport Gym.

Manaowan has already beaten fighters such as Abbas Luksuan, Suadam Kongsitha, Bandonlek Wor Phetphou, Sakettong Tonminburi, Sakyaipha Sitsongpeenong, Phetsanguan Sor Yupinda, Winaylek Kongfayfah, Sangtangnoi Tanasuranakorn, Rambo Petchpokhao, Teetong Por Rungsawat, Chok Eminentair !

On 5 March 2016, in Pattaya, he beat Teetong Por Rungsawat (Fight in 70 Kg) and Choke Eminent Air (Fight in 70 Kg), and wins The Champion Muaythai 4-Man Tournament in 70 Kg

April 24 he won by TKO to second round against the french Greg Petchsaman (Fight in 67 Kg)

May 27 Manaowan wins the Radja stadium belt in 147 lbs by beating the French Aziz Hlali

June 24 he beat the french Valentino Thibaut (Fight in 70 Kg) and loss by KO in Toyota Revo 8-Man Tournament against Dejlit Poptheeratham (Fight in 70 Kg)

August 07, in super fight, to Super Muay Thai, he won the Turkish Omer Luktapfah (Fight in 68 Kg)
