For his first fight, Jaid meets a boxer who is 10 kg more than him, but he gains his match by flooring several times his opponent!

Down from it’s 1m60, Jaid is not a giant but his mental and his aggressiveness to win on the boxing ring impresses a lot of people.

Jaid takes away his first title important in 1983 by becoming a France champion of Thai boxing. Then, in 1986, he won champion’s belt of Europe – 52 kg against Ploos, a Dutch of famous Chakuriki Gym. The Dutch was heavier than Jaid but French is going to put him KO with a magnificent blow of knees. For this belt, he beat in particular killers of the discipline such as the Dutch Mickael Lieuwfat (World champion of Thai boxing) which was 5 kilos more than Jaid when they were in confrontation, Jaid broke the knee of the Dutch. As well as rough Belgian champion Yigin Osman (World champion of Thai boxing, world champion of Kickboxing) whom he beat at his home in Belgium for champion’s belt of Europe in Kickboxing.

His fighter’s nickname “Little Big Man” reflects well his great career!

His incredible fight’s record he owes him to his work persisted in the training and in his big experience in Thailand. Jaid went in Thailand at the beginning of the 80s. It was one of the French first ones to fight in the stadium of Ratchadamnoen then in the stadium of Lumpinee. And when he fought in Thailand it was for the biggest promoter of the Lumpinee, Mr. Songchai Ratanasuban.

But it was especially an adventurer of training camps in Thailand, authentic camps in which he forged his mental warrior and acquired the techniques of pure Muay Thai. At that time, for a foreigner, it was not also easy as today to integrate a camp of boxing in Thailand. It was necessary to prove his value as much on the boxing ring as to the training to be accepted by the owner of the camp…

His first camp was the one of the promoter Naris in Bangkok. A renowned camp where was the champions Attapong, Yousoth, Lomthai, Somsong, Kiosot…

Indeed, little foreign fighter can brag to have faced the champions such as Hippy Singmanee and Rambo Pongsiree who were in Thailand the real scarecrows of the discipline!
