This small camp opened in 2010, it’s located in the district of Phra Khanong in Bangkok, in Sukhumvit Road at the end of the soi (Alley) 93.

A SMALL CAMP HAS THE MODEST INFRASTRUCTURE BUT AUTHENTIC
The owner of this camp is the former legend of boxing rings Boonlay Sor Thanikul who fought for a long time for the famous camp Sor Thanikul. The Sor Thanikul camp was in the same district as Sor Korpilap Gym, Boonlay took up his camp in only 10 minutes to feet of the old camp Sor Thanikul…
Boonlay ” The Deserving “ was a magnificent technician, one of the best of his generation, he belongs of legends of ” Golden age ” of the muay thai in Thailand.
His fight record’s is exceptional, he was a champion of the Lumpinee in 115 lbs by beating Langsuan Phanyutaphum (Best boxer of year 1987) in 1990 and champion of the Lumpinee in 122 lbs by beating Wangchannoi Sor Palangchai (Best boxer of year 1993) in 1992. Boonlay made 400 fights for 300 victories!
In the 90s, this immense champion beat all the stars of his time such as Jongsanan Fairtex, Chatchai Paiseethong, Karuhat Sor Supawan, Lamnamoon Sor Sumalee (KO), Superlek Sor Issan, Oley Kiatoneway, Chamophet Ha Phalang, Jaroensap Kiatbanchong, Langsuan Phanyutaphum, Wangchannoi Sor Palangchai, Cherry Sor Wanich, Namkabuan Nongkee Pahuyut, Somrak Kamsing, Nungubon Sitlerchai!
Boonlay had a brother twins, Boonlung (Dead), these two great champions represented the famous Sor Thanikul camp during many years.

MASTER BOONLAY
The surface of the camp Sor Korpilap is not big, he just contains a small boxing ring and four punch bags. A dozen boxers trains for it on a daily basis, it are for the most part of the children of the district. They are supervised by two trainers and the master of the place Boonlay.
THE YOUNG BOXERS COME TO THE CAMP IN MOTORCYCLE OR ON FOOT, THERE ARE NO ROOMS IN THE CAMP FOR THE FIGHTERS
The most hardened is Asawin who in 14 years has already fought in the stadiums of Lumpinee and Ratchadamnoen, he adds up 40 fights with very few defeats. Phetongchai is the other serious fighter of the camp, he’s 15 years old with also 40 fights to his credit, Phetongchai fought a lot in the stadium of Rangsit.
The training in this camp is classic but the conditions are rough for youngs nakmuays. They rarely train in the morning because they are all schooled. They begin their training at 6 pm and ends it generally at about 9 pm.
