The Sor Poonsawat camp is a quite small camp situated in full heart of Bangkok in the district of Phaya Thai. The camp has no infrastructure, only a boxing ring in full air and three punch bags hung on crossbar act as camp. The place is unusual because there are under the bridge of four ways Don Muang Tolway, on a big parking space near a noisy road…
The camp was created there is about fifteen years, by Pii Soo Poonsawat, a shopkeeper passionate about boxing.

Moreover, Pii Soo has two of his children who train for Sor Poonsawat. It is the twins Chatpet and Chatnoi, two 15-year-old boxers who have already fought several times in the stadium of Radja. Chatnoi is a real phenomenon because is just 15 years old he has already made 150 fights and gained four belts, twice champion’s belt of the Center and twice champion’s belt of the Isaan (Northeast)!

When to his brother Chatpet he fought three times in Radja and has 80 fights to his fight record’s!
The twins have two different styles, Chatnoi is a pure Muay Khao (Strong in knees) and Chatpet is Fimeuu (Technician) but it are both formidable boxers on the boxing ring…
Sor Poonsawat gym has about ten fighters, mainly children, the youngest has 7-year-old and the oldest has 15-year-old. The most famous fighters of the Sor Poonsawat is Falungluang Sor Poonsawat who was a champion of Thailand in 105 lbs and who fights under the name of Falungluang Jitmuangnon today, a solid puncheur, which fights from now on for the camp Jitmuangnon which is to Nonthaburi…
FALUNGLUANG SOR POONSAWAT
Three trainers are present permanently in Sor Poonsawat, they supervise nakmuays youngs which begin their training from 5 pm, after the school. Indeed, most are children of the district who come to train more to let off steam that to make a career in the muay thai. During the training, he reigns an atmosphere good child around the boxing ring and over the boxing ring it sometimes finishes by a battle of water between nakmuays youngs, under the look to amuse trainers…

But the fighters as Chatpet and Chatnoi train as professionals, every day, except Sunday. At 7 am in the morning, when many children leave studying at the school, the twins begin their daily jogging of 8 km in streets polluted by the City of the Angels (Bangkok), old sneakers in feet, a little bit wide sweat-shirt on them slender shoulders, the head half hidden by their hood, they run with the same rage as the great champions, full dreams the head, dreams of fight in the big evenings of Lumpinee or Radja…
In period of fight, they make five rounds of paos of five minutes, three rounds of punchbag of five minutes, 40 minutes of clinch and often end with 30 minutes of skipping rope!

The promoter of the Sor Poonsawat is Mr. Chujaroen Raveearamwong, one of the most influential promoters of the stadium Radjadamoern and the owner of renowned Chuwattana Gym!
In this camp practically no foreigner came to train, only two ” farang ” (foreign) tested the paos of Sor Poonsawat, the one two is french which fought a lot in Thailand, a traveller of the thai camps, from Toulouse Tony Fiorelli who lived for a long time in the country of the Siam…
