Serge TREFEU: Hello Chanajon, how are you?

CHANAJON PK SAENCHAI GYM: Very well

How old are you?

I’m 29 years old

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I’m of the northeast region of the Thailand, I was born to Buriram

You are married?

Yes and I have a girl who has 8 months

You have brothers and sisters?

I have a younger brother

You began the boxing at which age?

I began the boxing at the age of 7

How you discovered the boxing?

It’s my father, he trained me in the boxing any young, it’s him who taught everything to me at the beginning…

At what age you have make your first fight?

In seven years, I have make my first fight two months having begun the boxing, I won at points and my purse was 200 bahts

In what camp you began your training?

I began my formation at my home with my father then in the camp Sor Samouyi near my home

You made many fights in province?

I have make about 50 fights in Isaan (Northeast Region)

To what age you came to Bangkok?

In 17 years I was in the camp Sitjekarn Gym

You stayed how long in the Sitjekarn gym?

I stayed 10 years in the Sitjekarn gym, my fighter’s name before was Omsinlek Sitjekarn

And today you are in which camp?

I belong now for two years to the Saenchai PK Muay Thai Gym and I fights under the name of Chanajon PK Saenchai Gym

You train with which champions in the Saenchai PK Muay Thai Gym?

With Saenchai, Kongsak, Pakorn, Wanchalong, Prajanchay, Sirimongkol, Sensatan…

In what category you fights?

I fights in 160 lbs (-72 kg)

You gained belts of the big stadiums?

I won three belts. My first belt was the belt of the stadium of Radja in 154 lbs which I gained against Jaochalam Sor Pinyou in 2010, then I gained the belt of the Tournament Isuzu in 160 lbs in 2014 against Aikchanachai Keawsamrit and in 2015 world champion IMTU’s belt in 160 lbs against a French (Mickael Francoise)!

How much have you make of fights so far?

I have make 150 fights for 120 victories, 25 defeats and 5 draws

You gained many fights by KO?

Yes approximately 40 victories by KO

You have which style of boxing?

I’m “Muay Khao” (Boxer strong in knees)

What is your technique preferred in fight?

The pokes and the knocks of knees

What was your hardest fight until today?

Against Saiyok in the Thai Fight, he put me KO and his pokes very hurt me, I was at the hospital after the fight…

Your best memory of boxing?

It’s to have gained the tournament Isuzu with a million bahts and the pick-up!

What are the known fighters that you faced?

I met Kamlaiphet, Big Ben, Phetmongkon, Prakanchay, Peemai, Panom, Kanongsuk, Yodpayak, Jaochalam, Aikchanachai, Saiyok, Sirimongkon…

You have already fought abroad?

Yes once in France (La Reunion), in Hong-Kong and in Vietnam

It’s the second time which you come to fight in France and the first time in Paris for the Best Of Siam 7?

Yes it’s the first time when I come to Paris

You are satisfied to be in Paris?

Yes very happy to be here and to see the subway (Laughter)

You know French fighters?

As fighter foreign I know just Youssef Boughanem

For you what is the best foreign fighter?

It’s Youssef because he beat me (Laughter)

What is the best Thai fighter today according to you?

It’s Saenchai!

For what promoter you fights?

Mister Tidipong Aomanun (Jar Tui, Saengmorakot promotion)

What is your purse at present in Thailand?

I have already touched purse of 100 000-baht!

Of what think you to make after the boxing?

I’m going to open a small shop at my home in Isaan…

Chanajon gained his fight against promising Jimmy Viennot in the Best Of Siam 7 in December, 2015.

CHANAJON AGAINST VIENNOT IN EVENT BEST OF SIAM 7

Chanajon beat champions as Kamlaiphet Phetsomnuek (KO), Big Ben Chor Praram 6 (KO), Peemai Jitmuangnon (KO), Jaochalam Sor Pinyou, Aikchanachai Keawsamrit, Sirimongkon Sit-Anupap!

In 2014, Chanajon was the big winner of the famous Tournament Isuzu. In March, 2014, he gained the Tournament Isuzu 24 in 160 lbs.

For this tournament, Chanajon beat Peemai Jitmuangnon (Omnoi champion), Talethong Sor Thanaphet, Anantadech Petchsupapan (KO) and in final Aikchanachai Kaewsamrit (Radja champion), he pocketed the million baht sum and the famous Pick-up Isuzu!

MR HIROSHI NAKAGAWA PRESIDENT OF ISUZU COMPANY IN THAILAND PRESENTS OFFICIALLY THE KEY TO PICK-UP TO THE WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT ISUZU 24, CHANAJON!

In 2014, Chanajon fought a lot in the famous organization Thai Fight. He beat French Gaetan Dambo and Anes Laxhmari (KO) and Algerian Nabil Lettat by stop of the referee. And he lost by KO in front of Saiyok Pumpanmuang and the ouzbekistan Naimjon Tuhtaboev.

  • On August 8, in stadium Omnoi he beats Sirimongkon Sit-Anupap which is the current champion of Lumpinee and Thailand in 154 lbs

     

  • On September 26, in stadium Omnoi, he loses against the Belgian Youssef Boughanem who defended his belt Omnoi 160 lbs

DESPITE DEFEAT AGAINST THE PHENOMENAL BOUGHANEM, CHANAJON MADE A BEAUTIFUL FIGHT BY PLACING BEAUTIFUL TECHNIQUES AS THIS MAGNIFICENT HIGH KICK

  • On October 11th, in La Reunion (France Island), he beat by jet of the sponge French Mickael Francoise and gained world champion IMTU’s belt – 72 kg
