PARIYAKORN RATANASUBAN: I’m fine thank you
You came in France for the event KERNER THAI with two boxers of your team (Nong Rose and Superbank), it’s the first time when you come in France and when you work with a French boxing promoter?
No, I already came several times in France, I know well this country and I like France. I have already worked with French promoters in particular in 2016 with Mr Prestia for his organization « Warriors Night » on the stadium Japy in Paris. Today, I work with Mr Kerner for his event of January 6th in Paris.
We always had good relations with the French promoters because my father (Songchaï Ratanasuban one of the biggest promoters of boxing in Thailand) worked a lot with France for his promotions S1

Your father Mr Songchai Ratanasuban in the 90s and 2000 worked a lot with great French champions such as Jean-Charles Skarbowsky, Stephane Nikiema, Dany Bill, Guillaume Kerner, Morad Sari, Dida Diafat, Farid Villaume, these names tell you something?
Yes of course, they are all big champions. My father made many foreign champions fight in his organizations and French were always many because France is a nation strong in Muay Thai. I know well Mr Skarbowsky who is a former champion become now a promoter of boxing. We are soon going to work together for his event in Thailand, the Best Of Siam, which will take place in the stadium of Lumpinee in February

How long have you been a boxing promoter?
Since 14 years now
You have begin the promotion of fight with your father?
Yes, I made at first long studies and then I began the promotion of boxing match. Because the promotion of boxing match in our family is a business which works well for several years. Today, I became a promoter in the stadium of Lumpinee for Muay Thai and promoter of Boxing for various international organizations. I also work with the Channel 7 and other stadiums. We also have stadiums which belong to the promotion S1 (Songchai N°1) in the region of Chachoengsao and near Bangkok. I travel very also in Europe, in Japan for our promotions S1

Not only in the stadium of Lumpinee. It has been approximately one year since I’m a promoter in the stadium of Lumpinee. My father is a promoter in the stadium of Ratchadamnoen. We have boxers who fight in both stadiums of Bangkok
What are the champions whom you have in your promotions in Muay Thai?
There are many champions because the promotion S1 exists since the 90s. Our promotions are exported all over the world in China, in Italy and other countries. In the stadium of Ratchadamnoen our boxers are ranking among the best fighters, we have champions like Sangmanee, Superbank, Nong Rose, Thanonchaï, Kwandome…

You have a promotion S1 in France?
Not still
In the 2000s, your father has to create the famous tournament S1 which took place during the King’s Birthday in Bangkok, is that you continue this tournament today?
Yes every year in the King’s Birthday as well as in the Queen’s Birthday we organize promotions S1. They are organizations different from those of Lumpinee and from Radja where there are only fights between Thai champions. In the King’s Birthday we organize many fights with foreign champions

What is that you have a training camp of boxing in Thailand?
No but we work with many of the big camps through all the country

Our next organization in the stadium of Lumpinee will be February 27th (Birthday day of Mrs Pariyakorn Ratanasuban) on 2018 with Mr Skarbowsky. We start a collaboration with the event Best Of Siam which is one of the biggest events in France at present
You think of working again with French organizers in the future?
Yes of course it’s only the beginning, I hope that there will be some more of successful collaboration with the French promoters
You are married, what is what you have children?
Yes I’m married and I have two children, a boy and a girl

Mrs Pariyakorn Ratanasuban walks in the footsteps of his illustrious father Songchai Ratanasuban.
Songchai Ratanasuban nicknamed ” The Gold hand ” is one of the biggest boxing promoters of the Kingdom of Siam, this exceptional man revolutionized the promotion of Muay Thai in Thailand.
Songchai is known all over the world, he’s the inspirator of the famous tournament S1 which takes place every year in the King’s Birthday in Bangkok, S1 now became an international tournament. He was also Co-organizer of big official events with famous promoters as Kazuyoki Ishii in Japan and Samy Kebchi in France!
It’s thanks to Songchai that the best foreign fighters of the planet were able to face the Thai champions at their home, in memorable meetings in the stadium of Lumpinee, Radja and especially in the King’s Birthday.
The biggest foreign champions have all fought for Songchai, starting with the Dutch legend Ramon Dekkers, as well as Dany Bill, Stephane Nikiema, Guillaume Kerner, Morad Sari, Manu N’Tho, Dida Diafat, Mustapha « Totof » Youcef, Kamel Jemel, Khaled Hebieb, Christian Garros, Wilfried Montagne, Fabio Pinca, Yohan Lidon, Cedric Muller, Rudolph Durica, Gilbert Ballantine, Perry Ubeda, Hassen Kasrioui, Rayen Simson, John Wayne Parr, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky, Farid Villaume, Dzabar Askerov, Cosmo Alexandre, and many others.
Songchai Ratanasuban is still in Thailand one of the most important promoters. Songchai Ratanasuban is always the promoter N°1 of the mythical stadium Ratchadamnoen of Bangkok.

Her daughter Mrs Pariyakorn Ratanasuban has now took over by becoming an indispensable promoter in the country. In Thailand, in the world of the boxing, her is nicknamed “Songchainoi” (The little Songchai).
Pariyakorn Ratanasuban is the third child of Mr Songchaï Ratanasuban, the youngest of the family. The elder sister is Madam Pattaraporn Rattanasuban and the older brother is called Mister Siraporn Ratanasuban.
THE RATANASUBAN FAMILY, A HAPPY FAMILY WHO DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF BOXING IN THAILAND
Graduate a Master in Management from Mahidol International University, Mrs Pariyakorn Ratanasuban takes care from now on of the promotion of the family company ” Songchai Promotion ” in the side of his father.
Mrs Pariyakorn Ratanasuban organized her first promotion of boxing in 2004 for the championship Asia PABA in Boxing which Pongsit Wiang Wiset (Wanwisep Kaennorasing) gained.
On September 5th, 2017, Mrs Pariyakorn Ratanasuban was officially appointed a promoter to the famous stadium of Lumpinee. She became the second woman promoter in the stadium of Lumpinee in the story of Muay Thai. The first one being Mrs Panitcha Theeradejpong, a daughter of the promoter N°1 of the stadium Lumpinee Mr Phirapong Theeradejpong (Chun Kietpetch).
The boxing is not ready to stop in the family Ratanasuban, “Songchainoi” is going to write certainly also the story as her father “The Golden hand ” which marked for ever the world of the boxing in Thailand!
