KONGJAK SOR TUANTONG: Well, thank

How old are you?

I am 28 years old 

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I am of Ang Thong, a region in the center of the Thailand, it’s next to Ayutthaya

You are married, you have children?

Yes I am married and I have a girl and a son

Your children practise Muay Thai?

My son who is 7 years old begins has to train a little for the boxing…

What is what you have brothers and sisters?

I have a younger brother

Your brother is a boxer also?

Yes it’s a fighter

You began the boxing at which age?

I began the boxing at the age of 12

In what age you have make your first fight?

In 12 years, I lost in points my first fight but I gained 200 bahts (Laughter)

How you discovered the boxing?

My father was a professional boxer, his speciality was the knocks of knees!

Your father made how much fight?

I cannot tell you, I don’t know exactly but really a lot (Laughter)

In what camp you began the boxing?

I began the boxing with my father, it’s him who trained me at home, then at the age of 17 I went to Bangkok to the camp Por Pao In 

How long you stayed in this camp?

Approximately decade…

Today you are in which camp?

Now I train for the camp 13 Coins Gym

With Saenchai and Sangmanee?

Yes also with Pakorn…

In what category you fights?

I fights in 154 lbs

What are the titles which you gained?

I won four belts, the belt WMC in 130 lbs, the belt of Omnoi in 147 lbs, the belt of Radja in 154 lbs and twice the belt WPMF in 154 lbs!

Your belt of the stadium of Omnoi you gained against whom?

Against Kathaphet Ror Phetpotong!

And your belt of Radja?

Against Kanongsuek Chuwattana!

How much have you make of fights?

I have make 200 fights for 150 victories and 2 Draws!

You gained many fights by KO?

Not a lot only 4 or 5 victories by KO

You have which style of boxing?

I am fimeuu but I am also a fighter who moves forward…

What is your technique preferred in fight?

I like all the techniques with elbows!

What was your hardest fight?

My fight against Aikpracha in the stadium of Radja, I lost in points against him, he hits very hard with his fists!

Your best memory of boxing?

My victory for the belt of Radja against Kanongsuek!

What are the known fighters that you faced?

Singmanee, Aikpracha, Kem, Sudsakorn, Nopparat, Dejrit…

You often fought abroad?

I fought in Japan, in Singapore and in France

You have already fought in France?

Yes three years ago against Lidon, I lost in points…

You know French fighters?

I know Fabio Pinca and of course Lidon!

What is according to you the best foreign fighter in Muay Thai?

Today, I would say Pinca, he’s very strong and also Youssef (Boughanem)!

And the best Thai fighter today, it’s who for you?

It’s Saenchai!

You make a good living thanks to the boxing?

Yes, I was able to buy a house for my family and I have a beautiful Pick-up (Laughter)!

What is your promoter?

Pol Prajuab Pao-In who is a promoter in Radja

What is your purse in Thailand?

60 000 bahts!

That think you make after the boxing?

I am going to open my camp near my home to Ang Thong and to become a trainer…

KONGJAK SOR TUANTONG AND SERGE TREFEU!

Kongjak had conquered, in 2009, in Thailand, world champion WPMF’s belt in 154 lbs against Australian Soren Eminent Air. A belt that he had defended successfully, among others, against French Mickael Lallemand in Queen’s Birthday!

In 2010, he beat robust Yohan Lidon in the stadium TV7 by stop on wound, Lidon had taken his revenge in Lyon in 2011 by beating the Thai in points!

In 2011, Kongjak participated in the tournament Isuzu in the stadium Omnoi, the tournament in which he lost by stop of the referee against Nopparat Keatkamtorn and by KO against the star Kem Sitsongpeenong!

KONGJAK VS KEM!

Year 2013 was better for Kongjak because he gained the belt of the stadium of Radja in 154 lbs in front of formidable Kanongsuek Chuwattana, Kanongsuek who holds the belt of Radja in 160 lbs today!

Finally, in March, 2014, in Japan, to Okinawa, he becomes again World champion WPMF in 154 lbs against Japanese Hiroto!

Kongjak beat champions as Singmanee Kawsamrit, Kanongsuek Chuwattana, Soren Emintent Air, Yohan Lidon and Djimé Coulibaly!
