I’m from Surin region (Northeast region). The village where I grew up is called Lekthi

Yes we are five children in my family, I have a brother and three sisters

I won three belts. In 2017, I won the Thailand Champion Belt in 135 lbs against Petchkantat M.U. Den, I beat him by knockout. I kept my title against Muangthai. I won the belt of Lumpinee in 135 lbs in 2018, in Japan, against a Japanese champion (Genji Umeno) that I beat by knockout. In 2019, I beat Ferrari Jakkayanmuaythai for the Lumpinee belt in 140 lbs!

How much did you fight so far?

I made 85 fights for 70 wins 10 losses and 5 draws

Yes I won 40 wins by KO

I’m a fighter who advances strong in fist

The high kicks and fist combinations

I don’t remember too much of a fight harder than another…

All my big wins are good memories!

Have you ever fought abroad?

Yes once in Japan, I won by KO

Would you like to come to fight in Europe, in France for example?

Yes of course!

No, I don’t know foreign fighters

Kulapdam (Black Rose) of his real name Somboon Misitidee was born on September 24, 1998 in the village of Lekthi in the province of Surin (Northeast Region). His fighter nickname is « Khio Morakot » (The green emerald). His parents are farmers, they work in rice fields. The Misitidee family has five children, the oldest of whom is Kulapdam.

This boxer from a very poor family has become rich today, Kulapdam is currently one of the champions who receive the biggest purses on the circuit of Thai professional boxers. He has already received 300,000 Baht purses.

Young Kulapdam’s idols when he started boxing were puncher Samransak Muangsurin and ring magician Saenchai Sor Kingstar. His dream at 8 was to become Muay Thai World Champion. At the age of 20, he has already realized his dream by becoming twice champion of the legendary Lumpinee stadium and Thailand champion.

On 8 September 2017, at the Lumpinee Stadium, Kulapdam defeated by KO in the third round Petchkantat M.U. Den (Thailand Champion 2018) and won the Thailand Champion’s Belt in 135 lbs.

He defended his belt of Thailand in 135 lbs against the formidable Muangthai PK Saenchaigym. On June 5, 2018, Kulapdam and Muangthai made a draw, Kulapdam kept his Thailand belt he still holds.

On February 18, 2018, in Japan, at Korakuen Hall, Kulapdam won the Lumpinee stadium belt in 135 lbs. He beat by KO the Japanese champion Genji Umeno who was champion of Radja in 2016.

On March 19, 2019, at the Lumpinee stadium, Kulapdam defeated Ferrari Jakkayanmuaythai (TV7 Champion in 135 lbs) and won the Lumpinee belt in 140 lbs. A belt that he still holds today.

On October 5, Tawanchai won the Kila Sport Muay Thai belt in 140 lbs, beating Kulapdam in points at Buriram. And on September 7, at the Lumpinee Stadium, Tawanchai defeated Kulapdam.

Kulapdam was named “Best Boxer of the Year” in 2017 by the prestigious Sport Writers Association.

Kulapdam received this precious trophy thanks in particular to his good results at the TV7 stadium. In 2017, at the TV7 stadium, he won two wins by KO, one victory in point and a draw. And won the Thailand Belt at the Lumpinee Stadium against Petchkantat M.U. Den (Win by KO).
