NONG ROSE: Very well thank you

You have which age?

I’m 21 years old

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I’m of the village of Chi Wan near the city of Pimaï in the region of Nakhon Ratchassima (Northeast Region)

You have brothers and sisters?

We are four children in the family, two girls and two boys

Your brother is a boxer also?

Yes it’s a boxer as me

What is what you were brawler child?

Not at all I never fought

You started boxing at what age?

I started at 8 years old

At what age did you make your first fight?

I made my first fight at age 8 which was a victory by point, it was at Pimai in a temple

I won the sum of 300 baht (8 euros)

How did you discover boxing?

Thanks to a well-known boxer I liked to see fight

In which camp did you begin your training?

I started boxing in Payakchiwan camp in Nakhon Ratchassima area

You did a lot of fighting for this camp?

I made about a hundred fights for this camp, I stayed 8 years in this camp

Did you sleep in the camp?

No, I slept in my house, which was near the camp

In which category do you fight now?

I fight in Thailand today in 114 lbs (52 Kg) but I weigh 56 Kg

What are the important titles that you have won?

I won on April 29, 2017, at Montri Studio Stadium in Bangkok, the ThairathTV stadium belt in 115 lbs against Bangron Sayangym. In 2017, I also won the Isaan Champion Belt (Northeast Region)

I’m a fighter rather Muay Khao (Strong knees) but I like high kicks too

I like knees and high kicks

What was your hardest fight until today?

It was in 2010, in the stadium TV9 (Asawindam stadium) in Bangkok, I was poisoned, and during the fight I was very weak, I received a poke at the bows which grounded me…

Your best memory of fight?

It’s to have become a champion of the Team S1 (One Songchai Promotion), to make part now the best of the Thai circuit

What are the known fighters that you met?

Tsunami Jor Chaiwat, Priewpark Sor Jor Vichitpedriew, Petsupan Por Daorungruang, Bangron Sayangym, Seuayai Chor Hapayak, Kongsana Sakhomsin…

You have already fought abroad?

No I have never fight abroad

On January 6th, 2018 you are going to come to fight in France in the event Kerner Thai in Paris, you will face the French Akram Hamidi, it’s the first time when you are going to meet a foreign fighter?

Yes it’s the first time which I’m going to fight against a foreign boxer and it’s the first time when I’m going to go in France, I’m really satisfied to go in France to Paris!

Yes my life is improved, boxing makes me live correctly

I’m not still completely transformed…

You are the first one transgenre to fight in the big stadium of Ratchadamnoen, what is that you are proud of it?

Yes very proud, I’m the first one and I hope that I opened the way for other fighters who are as me!

In Thailand what is that there is many boxer transgenre?

Yes a lot, there is more and more…

What is that you know the famous boxer transgenre Nong Toom?

Yes of course, it’s moreover my first idol!

Nong Rose (The little Rose) Banjaroensuk is 21 years old, nicknamed “Koulap Abyapit” (Poisoned Rose) or “Ladyboy Destroyed” it’s the first transsexual to fight on the boxing ring of a big stadium of Bangkok in Ratchadamnoen Stadium.

KOULAP ABYAPIT “THE POISONED ROSE”

Contrary to the famous transvestite boxer Nong Toom (Pronounced Nongtoum) who made only about twenty fights, Nong Rose is a real champion who boxes since the age of 8 years and who has already made 150 fights, his back leg is extremely powerful and it’s a big durable boxer.

NONGROSE IS A REAL WARRIOR OF BOXING RINGS, ITS KNOCKS OF KNEES AND HIS POWERFUL MIDDLE KICK ARE VERY DANGEROUS

Nong Rose can fight on the boxing ring of the stadium of Ratchadamnoen because at the moment he has only the breast of a woman, he has not removed his male genital organ yet, otherwise he would definitively be considered as a woman by the officials of the Muay Thai in Thailand. As woman, he could not fight on the boxing rings of the big stadiums of Bangkok such as Radja, Lumpinee and TV7 which are forbidden in woman. When Nong Rose rises on the boxing ring, the arbitrators verify if he has well a Groin-Abdominal Protector of private parts before beginning his fight.

There is a controversy when Nong Rose rose on the boxing ring of the stadium Montri Studio to Bangkok, for a promotion of a fight, with a feminine dress what is strictly forbidden. Nong Rose is thus officially considered for the moment as a man for Muay Thai officials.

But Nong Rose considers himself as a woman because when he expresses himself, he says Kah (Feminine) in ending of sentence in Thai, and not Khrap (Male). In Thai we say “Khop Khoun Kah” for a woman, “Khop Khoun Khrap” for a man, “Sawadee Kah”, “Sawadee Khrap” etc….

Nong Rose of his real name Somrot Ponjaroen began the boxing in 8 years in a temple with monks then in a camp Payakchiwan where he was formed, he fought under the name of Langsuan Phayak.

Any young already, at about 10 years, he began to disguise. At the age of 15, he has took fighter’s name of “Nong Rose Banjaroensuk”. The name Nong Rose he inspired by a former boxer who liked making up and getting dressed as girl. And Banjaroensuk is the name of the camp which he integrated who is in the region of Chachoengsao (Region centers in 100 km from Bangkok), camp in which he trains even today. Nong Rose fought with girl’s top on the trunk in the age of 12 years, he really became Katoey (transformed Transvestite) towards the age of 14-15 years.

Nong Rose is at present a phenomenon which makes a lot of noise mediatically in each of the fights, the journalists other than the journalists specialized in Thai boxing come to take photos of the phenomenon Nong Rose.

Furthermore, is supported and encouraged by Nong Toom one of the transsexuals the most known for Thailand. Nong Toom is a former boxer who became a model and an actor today, the movie ” Beautiful Boxer ” is a movie inspired by the life of Nong Toom. Other known transvestites often attend the fight of Nongrose which became the young protected from the big promoter Songchai Ratanasuban.

Nong Rose becomes more and more rated, for his fight against Seryai Chor Hapayak on June 7th, 2017 in the stadium of Radja, there was a dumpan (Bet enters camp) of a million bahts stake taken away by Nong Rose’s camp. It was the first time in the history of Muay Thai that a transsexual fought in the stadium of Radja.

Nong Rose won the stadium belt ThairathTV (Montri Studio Stadium) in 115 lbs (-52 Kg) beating boxer Bangroon Sayanyim on April 29, 2017. The same year, he also won the provincial champion belt of Isaan (Northeast Region).

In 2017, Nong Rose lost only one fight.

In February, Nong Rose won the Northeast Champion Belt.

On March 25, at Bangkok’s Montri Studio Stadium, he defeated Kongsana Sakhomsin.

On April 29, at Montri Studio Stadium in Bangkok, he won the ThairathTV stadium belt in 115 lbs against Bangron Sayangym.

On July 13, in the stadium of Radja, he beat the great champion Prewpark Sor Jor Vichitpedriew (TV7 Champion in 105 lbs).

NONG ROSE AGAINST KOMPAYAK (LUMPINEE CHAMPION IN THE 80S)

On November 2nd, at the Radja stadium, Nong Rose met Phetsupan Por Daorungruang (Omnoi Champion in 115 lbs) for the Radja stadium belt in 115 lbs (- 52 Kg). Nong Rose lost in points, this is the first time in the history of Muay Thai that a transgender was fighting for a belt of a big stadium in Bangkok!
