« THE MIGHTY RHINO »

Nuathoranee was born on October 25, 1971 in Ban Phaï in the province of Khon Kaen (Northeast Region). His last name is Dawng Saeng.
Nuathoranee started boxing at Camp Por Samanchai, he fought under the name “Phrikdae Por Samanchai” in the northern province of Thailand.

Then he took the fighter name of Nuathoranee Sitchainarin. Then he joined Mr. Thongraja’s Sor Kietalingchan camp, one of the best camps in Bangkok in the 1990s. A camp that included champions Krirkchai Sor Kietalingchan (Lumpinee Champion), Supernoi Sor Kietalingchan (Lumpinee Champion), Kawhna Sor Kietalingchan (Lumpinee Champion).

Nuathoranee also fought for the Wor Thaweekiat Gym, the camp of Tank, Rodtang Wor Thaweekiat (Radja Champion).

Nuathoranee also fought for Master Yodtong, the owner of the famous Sityodtong Gym of Pattaya.

Nuathoranee did a lot of extremely violent fighting, he was a steamroller who very well mastered the techniques of elbow strikes. He often ended his fights with openings in his faces, as well as his opponents.

Nuathoranee was nicknamed by Muay Thai fans “Ay Ret Dong” (The Mighty Rhino).

Nuathoranee was several times N° 1 of the Lumpinee stadium. But he never managed to win a belt from a big stadium in Bangkok. He notably fought for the Lumpinee belt in 130 lbs against Namkabuan Nong Kee Pahuyuth who beat him on points.

Nuathoranee has beaten the best champions of his generation such as Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj, Den Muangsurin, Rittichai Lukjaophodam, Pomphet Naratreekul, Phairoj Wor Walaphon, Jongsanan Fairtex, Ankaradech Por Pao In, Rajasak Sor Worapin, Chodchoy Chuchokchay, Wangchanoi Sor Palangchaï, Jaroenthong Kiatbanchong, Sakmongkol Sitchuchok, Samranthong Kiatbanchong, Boonlay Sor Thanikul, Chandet Sor Phrantalay, Rainbow Sor Phrantalay!

In 1988, Nuathoranee defeated, most notably, his namesake, Nuathoranee Chor Rochanachai. He made two great matches against big names of the moment Oley Kiatoneway and Toto Por Pongsawang. Faced with the magician of the rings, the champion of Lumpinee in 115 lbs, Oley Kiatoneway, nicknamed “Khaimukdam Andaman” (The black pearl of Andaman), Nuathoranee lost on points.

1990 was a great year for Nuathoranee, out of his 13 fights he won 11.
Earlier this year, in Ranong province, Nuathoranee defeated Krathaythong Sor Singhmuslim.

In February, in the stadium of Lumpinee, he suffered a hard knockout in the first round against the puncher Kongpattaya Sityodtong…

A month later, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee defeated on points Balangthong Lukborai.

In April, in the stadium of Lumpinee, he won against Koratnoi Sakpipat.
In May, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee beat Thamwit Saksamut.
In June, in the stadium of Lumpinee, he lost on points against the champion of Lumpinee Panomrunglek Chor Sawat (Champion of Lumpinee in 122 lbs).

But, a month later, in the north, in Chiangmai, he had a crazy match against Rittichai Lukjaophodam, whom he beat on points. Rittichai (Lumpinee Champion in 122 lbs) was a solid fighter nicknamed Phayak Song Peandin (Tiger of the two stones).

In August, in the stadium of Lumpinee, he won against Dejsak Sakpradu.
In September, in the stadium of Radja, he beat Samingnoi Kiatkumchai.
In October, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee made a good performance by beating the technician Thanu-In Chor Rachaat (Lumpinee champion in 108 lbs). For the return match, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee defeated Thanu-In a second time!

In November, Nuathoranee (19 years) was challenged by rising star Sakmongkol Sitchuchok (17 years). After a tough fight, Nuathoranee beat Sakmongkol on points. Sakmongkol later became a big ring star by winning the Lumpinee belt in 135 lbs, and the WMTC and WPKL world champion belts in 160 lbs.

Nuathoranee ended the year in style by defeating, in the stadium of Lumpinee, another star of the boxing rings, the formidable Samranthong Kiatbanchong!
In 1991, Nuathoranee defeated two boxing legends, Jaroenthong and Sangtiennoi!

In January, at Lumpinee stadium, he lost points to Muay Bouk Nampon Nongkhee Pahuyut. Nicknamed «Khun Khao Nay Peuaiye» (The Rebuilt Knee Kick), Namphon was a durable boxer who advanced on his opponents by sending knee shots and terrible low kick, he won a belt of the Lumpinee in 108 lbs and a belt of the Lumpine in 126 lbs.

A month later, the rematch took place at the Lumpinee stadium. The two fighters fought a dantesque battle that ended in a draw!

On March 5, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee beat the star Jaroenthong Kietbanchong (Lumpinee champion in 115 lbs and 126 lbs). Nicknamed “Discreet Tiger from the South”, Jaroenthong has beaten legends such as Denneua Denmolee, Paruhatlek Sitchunthong, Langsuan Phanyutaphum, Dokmaipa Por Pongsawang, Nampon Nong Kee Pahuyut (3 times), Chamophet Ha Phalang, Wangchannoi Sor Palangchai, Panomtuanlek Ha Phalang, Phetdam Lukborai (4 times), Samransak Muangsurin, Therdkiet Sitepitak (2 times), Cherry Sor Wanich (2 times), Superlek Sor Isaan (3 times), Saencheng Pinsinchai, Rajasak Sor Vorapin (3 times) , Chanchai Sor Tamrangsee, Sombat Sor Thanikul, Ramon Dekkers!

On May 10, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee met the great champion Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj (Radja champion in 130 lbs, Lumpinee champion in 135 lbs) and he lost on points against him. Sangtiennoi beat the best of his time as Saencheung Pinsinchai, Sombat Sor Thanikul, Nokweed Dawee, Chanchai Sor Thamrangsee, Kongnapa Watcharawit, Manasak Sor Ploenchit, Cherry Sor Wanich, Superlek Sor Isaan, Namphon Nong Khee Pahuyut, Orono Por Muang Ubon, Chandej Sor Prantalay, Sakmongkol Sitchuchok, Jongsanan Fairtex, Kaoponglek Luksuratham, Nuengtrakarn Por Muang Ubon!

The two “Muay Bouk” (Fighter who advances) met on May 31 in the stadium of Lumpinee. After a stunning match, “Ay Ret Dong” won this epic fight on points!

On August 6, in the stadium of Lumpinee, during the same evening when the puncheur Ramon Dekkers beat by KO in the 1st round the buffalo Coban, Nuathoranee lost against the prodigy Namkabuan Nong Khee Pahuyut (Lumpinee champion in 130 lbs, WMC world champion in 130 lbs). Nicknamed “The Ring Genius” and “Khun Khao Phanom Rung”, Namkabuan was the big star of Lumpinee in the 90s.

On September 3, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Namkabuan again beat Nuathoranee.
1992 was without doubt one of the best years in Nuathoranee’s career. Because he defeated big stars of the moment such as Jongsanan (2 times), Boonlay (2 times) and Wangchanoi!

On March 20, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee (21 years) was challenged by the wonder boy Jongsanan Fairtex (17 years) who had just won, a month earlier, the Lumpinee belt in 126 lbs against the star Thedkiat Sitthepitak. Jongsanan was a hard and powerful fighter, he was nicknamed “Manutmay” (The wooden man). Nuathoranee has defeated Jongsanan!

On April 24, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee achieved a good performance by beating the super technician Boonlay Sor Thanikul (Lumpinee Champion in 115 lbs and 122 lbs). Boonlay was nicknamed “Fedlek” (The steel twin), Boonlay was the author of many anthology matches, he made during his long professional career 400 fights for 300 victories!

On May 29, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee made a big challenge by meeting the terrible puncher Wangchanoi Sor Palangchai (Lumpinee champion in 118 lbs and in 122 lbs, Best boxer of the year 1993). Nuathoranee and Wangchanoi had a memorable match and Nuathoranee won that fight on points.

Wangchanoi, nicknamed “Aymat 33 Wee” (The lightning punch in 33 seconds), knocked out champions such as Dokmaipha Por Pongsawan, Noppadet Sor Rewadee, Panomtuanlek Ha Phalang, Cherry Sor Wanich, Namkabuan Nong Khee Pahuyuth, Phetdam Lookprabat , Lamnamoon Sor Sumalee. He also defeated by points stars Samart Payakaroon, Kongtoranee Payakaroon, Chamophet Ha Phalang, Kaensak Sor Ploenchit, Karuhat Sor Supawan, Samransak Muengsurin!

On June 30, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee met for the third time the genius of the boxing rings Namkabuan. After two losses to him, Nuathoranee got a draw.

The two champions met on August 14, in the stadium of Lumpinee. The title of Lumpinee in 130 lbs of Namkabuan was put at stake for this match. Technician Namkabuan brilliantly defended his Lumpinee belt and beat Nuathoranee on points.

On September 11, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee won again against the star Boonlay Sor Thanikul!

Two months later, on November 6, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee beat the formidable Jongsanan Fairtex for the second time!
On November 20, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee challenged Therdkiat Sittepithak (Lumpinee Champion in 122 lbs and 126 lbs).

After a tough fight, in which Neuatoranee was opened hard to the cheekbone, Therdkiat took a nice victory in points. Nicknamed «Rachanhaeng Lumpinee» (The King of Lumpinee), Therdkiat beat the most technical and tough fighters of the 90’s as Yodkhunpol Sittraipum, Den Muangsurin, Samransak Muangsurin, Panomrunglek Chor Sawad, Phetdam Lukboraï, Jaroenthong Kietbanchong, Rajasak Sor Worapin, Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj, Cherry Sor Wanich, Superlek Sor Isaan, Oley Kiatoneway, Robert Kaennorasing, Orono Por Muang Ubon, Jongsanan Fairtex (KO), Samkor Kietmontep!

On December 29, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee had a very hard match against the puncher Superlek Sor Isaan (Lumpinee champion in 122 lbs and 126 lbs). Nuathoranee lost by injury stoppage in the fourth round…
1993 was also a memorable year for “Ay Ret Dong” who defeated the formidable champions Chandet, Phairoj and Den!

On January 29, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee made the rematch against Sakmongkol Sitchuchok who beat him on points.

On February 26, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee beat in points the great champion Chandet Sor Phrantalay (Lumpinee Champion in 135 lbs) nicknamed “The Psychopath”!

On March 29, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee lost against Komphet Lookprabat (Radja champion in 135 lbs).

On May 7, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee had a magnificent match and beat by KO in the third round the immense champion Phairoj Wor Walaphon (Lumpinee champion in 135 lbs)!

On July 3 at Lumpinee Stadium, Nuathoranee (22 years) fought puncher Den Muangsurin (26 years). It was a Dantesque match. During this fight Nuathoranee was destroyed in the second round by a hail of punch Den. Counted twice, on the edge of the KO, Nuathoranee was saved by the gong. Stunned by this humiliation during the second round, the rhinoceros became furious. In the third round, he attacked Den with terrible pokes elbow sequences. The round was mind-blowing, the two boxers surrendered blow for blow in a furious elbow battle. Open to everyone at the front, it was finally Den Muangsurin who was arrested by the referee. The blood from his huge wound on his forehead was dripping all over his face!

The revenge match between these two ring gladiators took place on August 6, in the stadium of Lumpinee. The two fighters once again put on a fierce fight that ended with Nuathoranee winning on points.
On September 7, at Lumpinee stadium, Nuathoranee lost the rematch against Phairoj Wor Walaphon.

On September 25, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee won against Chotchoy Chuchokchai.

On November 23, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee beat Ritthichai Lookchaomaesaitong.

On December 17, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee lost on points against the young Pomphet Narratrikul.

At the end of December, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee beat a second time Ritthichai Lookchaomaesaitong.

In 1994, Nuathoranee had a terrible battle against the solid Mathee Jedipitak (Lumpinee champion in 126 lbs). On January 31, in the stadium of Radja, after an incredible confrontation, the two fighters finished with a bloody head and Matee won on points…

On February 20, at TV7 stadium, Nuathoranee beat Chingchai Sakdaroon (Winner of Omnoi Rosso tournament).

On March 15, in the stadium of Radja, he lost against Angkarndej Por Paoi In and in August, he lost on points against the terror of the boxing rings of the moment, the bull Orono Por Muang Ubon (Lumpinee champion in 135 lbs). Nicknamed “Sam O” (3 O), Orono was a powerful Muay Bouk who defeated many great champions. This year 1994, Orono was voted “Best Boxer of the Year” by the prestigious “Sport Writers Association of Thailand”!

On November 18, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee took his revenge on Pomphet Narratrikul.

On December 9, in the stadium of Lumpinee, Nuathoranee found Jongsanan Fairtex for a third confrontation. This time it was Jongsanan who won the match.

On Wednesday, February 1, 1995, at Radja Stadium, Nuathoranee challenged the multiple Radja champions, Rajasak Sor Vorapin (Radja champion in 115 lbs, 122 lbs and 126 lbs). Nicknamed “Khun Khao Laweeyan” (The Deadly Knee Kick or the Grim Reaper Knee Kick), Rajasak was a fierce Muay Khao who mastered the knee kicks to perfection. Nuathoranee had a fantastic match and defeated the champion of Radja!

On October 10, in the stadium of Radja, Nuathoranee lost against the star Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj. The two champions have met three times with one victory for Nuathoranee and two victories for Sangtiennoi.
On October 31, in Lumpinee Stadium, Nuathoranee defeated mighty Rainbow Sor Phran Talay!

On 5 December in Macau, Nuathoranee tried a challenge by facing two champions at the same time, the French champions Manu N’Tho and Eddy Saban. Nuathoranee first met Manu N’Tho then Eddy Saban. The match was very physical especially against the slugger Manu N’Tho. In the end, the judges declared the two French champions winners in points.

The star Namkabuan Nong Kee Pahuyuth also faced in a special match in Bangkok these two champions Manu N’Tho and Eddy Saban. Namkabuan had won the match on points against the two French champions.

Nuathoranee, in Japan, also knocked out the rough Belgian champion Noël Van Den Heuvel!

In 1996, Nuathoranee had a serious motorcycle taxi accident in Kanchanaburi. Unfortunately, the driver broke his neck and Nuathoranee suffered a large jaw fracture. Fortunately, the rhino in the rings has a hard life…

Nuathoranee therefore did not fight too much, this accident marked the end of his career. That year, he lost on points to Chandet Sor Phrantalay, whom he had beaten in 1993.

In 1997, Nuathoranee fought against bull Orono Por Muang Ubon again for a world championship title in 140 lbs and he lost on points. He also lost to boxing star riding Wanlop Sor Sathphan (Sithpolek).

Nuathoranee made his last fight on January 2, 1999, in the stadium of Lumpinee where he lost on points against the young Natee Sor Khamsing.
After his career, Nuathoranee left to train at a club in Japan. This immense fighter stayed several years in Japan to reveal his enormous knowledge!
