Serge TREFEU: Hello, how are you Robert (Pronouncement Lobeut)?

ROBERT KEANNORASING: Very well !

How old are you  ?

I’m 37

Where you from in Thailand ?

I from Isaan ( Northeast of the country). Of a village which is called Ban Deng Noi near Khon Kean

You are married, have you children?

Yes and I have three children

Have you brothers and sisters?

Yes I have a brother and Sister

Your brother made a career in the boxing also?

Yes my small brother was a big champion. He was Champion of Radja…

You were a brawler when you were a child?

not of all

You began the boxing at which age?

At 11 years

Your first fight you made at which age?

At about 12 years

How did you discover the boxing?

There was a camp in 5 minutes on foot from my home…

It is in this camp that you began Muay Thai?

Yes it was the camp of Keandjaï Keannorasing. In the time it was the most known camp and one of the best of the region!

Who were the known boxers who trained with you?

Kaoklai, Wanvisep, Yotchai, Rolek my brother and many of the others…

You have made many fights for this camp?

I have made about 70 fights for this camp. I stayed over there 4 years

Then you came to Bangkok?

Yes towards the age of 15 years, I came directly to Jocky Gym

Since how long you are in Jocky Gym?

For a long time I am here in Jocky Gym…

You lived in the camp?

Yes I shared a room with the other boxers and I have moreover always a room to me here in Jocky…

In what category you fought?

– 59 kg

What are the titles which you gained?

I gained 4 belts. My first belt of Radja was – 47 kg, I was only 17 years old!

Then I took the belt of Radja – 57 kg then that – 59 kg.

And I also gained the belt Isuzu – 55 kg

When did you gained your first belt of Radja?

It was in 1989, I was very young…

How much have you make of fights during your career?

I have approximately 160 fights with about twenty defeats

You gained many fights by KO?

Not a lot

You had which style of boxing?

I was Fimeuu (technician)

What was your hardest fight?

I had a lot of hard fight, I could not say to you against whom exactly…

Against Skarbowsky whom you met twice it was hard fights?

Yes for example against Stong Skarbowsky (1 win, 1 lose) it been hard but after our last fight it became a friend…

You fought with him in Thailand?

The first time he beat me by KO (KO first round) in Las Vegas. Then I beat him in points in Bangkok in the King’s Birthday…

What was your best memory of boxing?

My victory against Namkabuan, he was a champion of the Lumpinee and me champion of the Radja in the time…

You have already fought abroad?

Yes in Japan, in Hong-Kong and in Las Vegas

You know French boxers?

I know well Stong Skarbowsky, Stephan Nikiéma and Danny Bill who are my friends

What technique you most liked making in fight?

All the techniques with legs, middle, High Kick, low kick…

The best Thai boxer at present it is who for you?

it is Seanchai Sor Kingstar, a great technician!

Today you stopped your career which does you make?

I train here in Jocky Gym

Robert Kaennorasing was in his time at the beginning of the 90s a real phenomenon. This highly gifted were one of the rare boxers to win a belt of Radja in only 17 years!

His famous Ram Muay of the archer was estimated by aficionados.

Even after his to be retired of boxing rings magazines specialized in Thailand still speak about him…
