LUKNIMIT SINGKLONGSI: Very well thank you!

How old are you?

I am 28 years old

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I was born to Lopburi in the region of the Centre my fighter’s name is Luknimit Singklonsi and my born name is Chuchart Popiam!

You are married,do you have children?

Yes I’m married and I have a son

FAMILY POPIAM FULL!

You have brothers and sisters?

Yes we are five children in the family

You have brothers who also boxed?

Yes my elder brother Charnsak was a champion of the Lumpinee in 108 lbs, he beat several times Seanchai, my brother Taweesak to him be champion of the Lumpinee and the world champion S1 in 108 lbs, his twin Taweeporn was a fighter in Boxing, he gained the championship of Hong-Kong and my brother Kotchasarn was also a good fighter, he beat Khunpinit Kietawan, beaten by KO Namsaknoi and fought for the belt of Lumpinee against Attachai Fairtex, a belt whom he lost in points, regrettably my brother died at the age of 23…

I began the boxing at the age of 6

Yes in 6 years!

How you discovered the boxing?

Thanks to my older brother who was a very known fighter!

In what camp you began your training?

I began to the camp Lookprabat to Saraburi, then I was in the camp Singklongsi where I’m for a long time…

In what category you fights?

I fight in 122 lbs

What are the titles which you gained?

I gained the belt of Radja in 108 lbs and World champion WMC’s belt in 108 lbs against Fasang Thor Pikatchai!

How much have you make of fights?

I have make 400 fights for 340 victories, 50 defeats and 10 draws!

You gained many fights by KO?

I gained 40 fights by KO!

LUKNIMIT FIGHT OFTEN IN RADJA AND LUMPINEE!

You have which style of boxing?

I’m Muay Khao (Strong in knees)!

What is your technique preferred in fight?

The knocks of knees of course!

What was your hardest fight?

My fight against Tongchai Thor Silachai in Radja, Tongchai is very powerful with his fists and the elbows, he’s very strong also with his legs!

Your best memory of boxing?

It’s to have beaten Sangmanee Sor Tienpo because a lot of people said that I would not beat him and I beat him!

No I have never fought still abroad

You would like to go to fight in the abroad, in France for example?

Yes of course, no problem I’m ready!

You know French fighters?

Yes I know it a little…

What is according to you the best foreign fighter?

Fabio Pinca he’s very good I saw him fighting in the Thai Fight, Skarbowsky also was very strong!

And the best Thai fighter today, it’s who for you?

I think that it’s Pakorn PK Seanchai Gym!

You lived good thanks to the boxing?

Yes very well, it allowed my family to live much better!

I wish to teach, to become a trainer in a camp, I give lesson already and I can give the lesson to paos also…

Luknimit is the junior of a family of big fighter, very known in the world of Muay Thai in Thailand!

It’s an extremely brave boxer who adds up 400 fights, he’s considered as being the best one of “Muay Khao” (Strong in knees) of the circuit, in 28 years tireless Luknimit is always present, he’s at present N°1 in ranking of Radja in 122 lbs and N° 3 in ranking of Lumpinee in 122 lbs!

LUKNIMIT PERFORMS MANY VIOLENT FIGHTS IS A WARRIOR WHO LOVES THE FIGHT!

Luknimit beat formidable champions like Thongchai Sitlachai Thor (Best fighter of the year 2001), Sangmanee Sor Tienpo (Best fighter of the year 2012), Superbank Sakchaichote (The current Lumpinee champion at 126 lbs), Rittijak Kaewsamrit and Chatchainoi Sit Benjama!

He also clashed with top names such as Pakorn Sakyothin, Yodweecha Por Boonsit, Rungrat Thor Phitakkonkarn and Rungpeth Wor Rungniran!

In 2013 he beat Chanaphet 91Rungroth, Naka Kaewsamrit, Mongkolkaew Sor Sommai and Thaksinlek Kiatniwat!

In 2014, in January, in Lumpinee, he lost on points againstFongluang Sitboonmee.

In March, he participated in a tournament in 122 lbs with eight fighters, eight champions all ranked in the major stadiums in Bangkok, Rataket Tedeed 99, Phetsinin Suan Aharnpeakmai, Denchiangkwan Lamtongkanpeth, Songkom Sitjaroensub, Songkom Sakhomsin, Kaotam Loukprabaht and Darahek Kietkamtorn , Luknimit lost his first fight in injury time against the young prodigy Songkom Sakhomsin (WBC Youth World Champion), then in April he beat Darahek Kietkamtorn, in May he lost to Denchiangkwan Lamtongkanpeth who won the tournament Omnoi, Luknimit had already beaten Denchiangkwan before the tournament!

In June, in Radja, he drew against Chorfaa Thor Sangtiannoi. In July, in Radja, he won the rematch against Chorfaa Sangtiannoi Thor beating him on points. And August in Radja, he beat the star Sangmanee Sor Tienpo!

Luknimit trains at camp Singklongsi located in Lopburi it’s an authentic camp but which accepts foreigners. The French Charlton Henry, a former professional fighter is one of the coaches of the camp!

The Singklongsi Gym is located in the village of Ban Kokram in Nong Muang district, which is 50 kilometers from the famous town of Lopburi, “City Monkey”. Lopburi province is 150 kilometers north of Bangkok.

Prices in camp Singklongsi are 15,000 baht per month which includes training, accommodation and two meals a day!
