PETCHMANKONG KAIYANGHADAO: Very well, thank you !

How old are you?

I am 26 years old 

You come of what region of the Thailand?

I’m of Buriram in the Northeast of the Thailand

What is what you have brothers and sisters?

We were four children in the family

You have brothers who are boxers?

Yes my older brother is a big champion, his fighter’s name is Prakayseng Kaiyanghadao (Double Thailand champion, Tournament Champion Toyota Marathon), he trains with me in the same camp…

You began the boxing at which age?

I began the boxing at the age of 11

In what age you have make your first fight?

In 11 years, I won my fight in points and I gained 120 bahts…

How you discovered the boxing?

My father was a boxer, it’s an enthusiast of boxing, then when I saw training my older brother I wanted to make as him…

In what camp you began your formation?

At the beginning, I trained at home with my brother, then I went to Korat in the camp Sitsanut, it was a camp with many fighters but no champions, boxers who often fought in Isaan…

Towards what age you were in Bangkok?

In 18 years I came to Bangkok to the camp Sit Or, the camp near Lumpinee…

You stayed for a long time in this camp, what champion there was with you?

I stayed more than 7 years in Sit Or, in the camp there was my brother, Nong O, Phetanong, Daodung…

I gained four belts, the belt of Thailand in 135 lbs against Singdam Kiatmuu9 in 2010, the belt of Thailand in 154 lbs against Sirimongkon Sit Anupap, in 2013, the belt of the Tournament Isuzu 20 in 135 lbs against Saenchainoi Pumpangmuang in 2010 at the stadium of Omnoi, and I also gained the Tournament Toyota in 147 lbs in 2012!

How much have you make of fights?

I have make 150 fights for 120 victories and 2 Draws!

You gained many fights by KO?

I gained approximately 30 fights by KO!

You have which style of boxing?

I am fimeuu but I work with my knees a lot

What is your technique preferred in fight?

I like the knocks of knees

What was your hardest fight?

My fight against Aikpracha was very hard, he beat me by TKO, he’s very powerful, his knocks hurt. But then my brother avenged me to beat him by points (Laughter)!
My two fights against Saenchai were also very hard, we were twice in confrontation with a victory each!

Your best memory of boxing?

When I gained the tournament Isuzu, it’s my most beautiful memory!

What are the known fighters that you faced?

Saenchai, Aikpracha, Singdam, Saenchainoi, Sirimongkon, Sittichai…

You often fought abroad?

I fought in Japan and in France

You have already fought in France?

Yes I already came once last year, I gained my fight in Japan also!

You know French fighters?

I know Fabio Pinca because I faced him four years ago…

It was in semi-final of the Tournament Thai Fights?

Yes he had beaten me by points, it’s for that I wish would be to take my revenge in France (Laughter) (Petchmangkon had to face Fabio Pinca in at event of Warriors Night 3 but French it’s broken wrist and was replaced by Abdoul Touré)

What is according to you best foreign fighter in Muay Thai, before and today?

Before I cannot say you but today fore me in Thailand now the more dangerous on ring it’s Youssef Boughanem!

And the best Thai fighter today, it’s who for you?

I think that it’s Sam-A (Pronounced Sam-É)!

You make a good living thanks to the boxing?

Yes, I bought a beautiful house for my mother in Isaan, I have a beautiful Pick-up Isuzu as well as I won at the Tournament (Laughter)

If I have enough money yes but otherwise I don’t know can be in Isaan grounds are less expensive (Laughter)

Petchmankong ” The hard Diamond ” won at points his fight against French Abdoul Touré, a match which took place during the event ” Warriors Night 3 ” organized by old champion Jo Prestia!

PETCHMANKONG VS TOURÉ!

In 2010, Petchmankong was at the top because he beat the star Singdam Kiatmuu 9 for the belt of Thailand and gained prestigious tournament Isuzu, pocketing in the passage the sum of one million baht and a car!
But then, nevertheless favorite of the tournament, he lost in half-final in front of the French star Fabio Pinca who took gained the first Thai Tournament Fight!

PETCHMANKONG ARRIVED IN HALF-FINAL OF THE FIRST THAI FIGHT TOURNAMENT!

In 2012, Petchmankong arrived in final of the tournament Toyota which took place to Nakhon Ratchassima in the Northeast, he gained the tournament against rough Victor Ngabe!

Then, he met formidable Sittichai Sitsongpeenong for the belt of Thailand in 147 lbs against which he was defeated in points…

But in 2013, he took away the belt of Thailand in 154 lbs in front of Sirimongkon Sit Anupap, belt that he has even today!

In 2014, Petchmankong made a big performance by beating at his home the star of the K1 Max, the Japanese champion Sato!

Petchmankong beat great champions such as Tuantong Pumpanmuang, Saenchai Sor Kingstar, Singdam Kiatmuu 9, Sirimongkon Sit Anupap, and Saenchainoi Pumpangmuang!
